Muazin | students from the of Photography and New Media departments | Text-Sound Installation.
Muezzin is a sound installation with audience participation, based on free texts written while the Muezzin calls every Tuesday morning. The sound work is like a broken mirror, reflecting the personal texts with each other, while simulating the Muezzin's call on the border between east and west Jerusalem. The work makes a connection between calling with praying and also between calling and writing. It also asks: is the call answered?
