Fake Sense, Fake Sensor

During the festival, Musrara Department of New Media will hold a Hackathon (Hacking Marathon) – an intensive three-day workshop aimed at creating innovative and interactive projects surrounding technological uncertainty, mentored by Turing Dames. The event will feature 20 participants from the fields of art, coding, hardware, music, content and movement, all working in teams and accompanied by the mentors. The projects developed during the Hackathon will be presented at the Festival’s closing event in JerusaLab On May 31st, 2018.
"Turing Dames" are Dganit Elyakim, Batt-Girl and Eran Hadas. Combining music, net-art, poetry, algorithms, programming, performance and more, they create works that explore and respond to the age of the Internet and digital culture.
