The bullfighter experiences great fear before his encounter with the bull. But the moment he comes in contact with it, he feels its energy, its power and its breath. Bullfighters call this feeling an indescribable emotion, a sort of deep contemplation, coupled with mental clarity, in which every moment is experienced in a fully conscious way. The bull, too, when it seems to be enraged, is absolutely concentrated in its movement. The spontaneous movements of both participants are in the kind of congruity and synchronization that we see in dance performances.
